Primary School children visit the Missions Office
As part of our commitment to raise missionary awareness amongst children, the Pontifical Mission Societies (Malta) is organizing visits to their Office in Valletta.
Primary School students are invited to join the rest of their class for an educational tour around the PMS office, during which you will be shown a power point presentation showing the hard work of the Church in missions towards giving a better future to other children in poor countries.
You will also be given a small gift with the Children Helping Children logo so as days go by it will help you remember all the things you would have learnt throughout this short experience.
This visit will also help you realize how lucky we are to be living in such good conditions and how difficult it would have been if we were born in poor countries.
Until this day, all students and teachers have enjoyed it very much. So if you would like your class to be invited, please tell your teacher to contact Mrs. Josette Caruana on Tel. 21236962 or info@missio.org.mt
The Money Box
This Money Box is distributed to each class in the beginning of October. It is done to encourage children to give a small donation for the missions on the occasion of World Mission Sunday. The Money Box is then collected again at the end of October, and the total amount collected from all students is then sent to the missions.
