That persecuted Christians may be sustained by the Holy Spirit and courageously bear witness to the Word of God.

That future priests in young Churches may be fully prepared to proclaim the Gospel in their own countries and to the whole world.
MAY
That Mary, Star of Evangelisation and Queen of Apostles, may continue to guide missionaries with her maternal love.
JUNE
That the Eucharistic Congress in Canada may lead to a deeper understanding of the Eucharist, the heart and source of evangelisation
JULY
That World Youth Day in Australia may kindle the fire of divine love in young people, making them heralds of hope for a new humanity.
AUGUST
That all Christians may learn to be committed and effective witnesses of the life and mission of the Church.
SEPTEMBER
That every Christian family may be a loving community, sensitive and open to the material and spiritual needs of others.
OCTOBER
That in this month dedicated to World Mission every Christian community may share in the Church’s universal mission with prayers, sacrifices and material help.
NOVEMBER
That Christians in Asia may faithfully proclaim Jesus to the peoples of that vast continent so rich in culture and ancient forms of spirituality.
DECEMBER
That Christians in the new Churches may show with deeds of love that the Child of Bethlehem is the light and hope of the world.
