The Generosity of the Maltese and Gozitans on World Mission Sunday
On World Mission Sunday, which was celebrated on the 21st of October 2007, the people of Malta and Gozo donated the sum of €333,554.00 to be sent to Mission diocese in need.
This amount does not include any other financial support given regularly to the Mission Office throughout the year.
The World Mission Sunday collection is organized by the Pontifical Mission Societies, whose main aim is to spread Missionary Spirit amongst God’s people.
